Position – Domestic cleaning

SupportedPlus is a disability support service based in Corowa, Rutherglen, Howlong and surrounding districts. Established in August 2018, our mission is to offer exceptional support services for people living with a disability. Our vision is to empower and broaden the lives and experiences of participants within and beyond their familiar surroundings based on their interests, goals and aspirations.

We are currently seeking a domestic cleaner who will go that extra mile to bring a smile to our participants and has a high standard of excellence, an eye for detail and integrity.

Position role

• Routine cleaning duties in homes of our participants.
• Vacuuming 
• Sweeping and mopping
• Tidying rooms
• Emptying waste bins, removing trash and recyclable material
• Cleaning and disinfecting kitchens, bathrooms and toilets
• Cleaning windows and other glass surfaces
• Documenting cleaning activities according to instructions provided

About you

An awareness of cleaning responsibly and following health and safety regulations. An awareness of the use of hazardous cleaning chemicals safely to maintain own health while ensuring the end user’s wellbeing. Ability to handle moderately heavy equipment. Proven working experience as a cleaner is an added advantage. Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets. Honesty and integrity

Requirements

• A valid and current Driver’s Licence
• A reliable roadworthy motor vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• A mobile phone or device that can access data

This position requires a basic level of physical fitness. Physical tasks may include reaching, bending, kneeling and lifting.
